ASCENT ADVICE PLUS
WHAT IS ASCENT ADVICE PLUS?
Ascent Advice Plus is a Pan-London specialist BME VAWG Partnership.
It is funded by MOPAC, and enhances the Ascent Advice service available across London through adding extra capacity to the advice service by: increased capacity to respond flexibly to the diverse needs of victims/survivors and to work with women for up to 26 weeks.
The partnership support is not limited to 12 weeks.
WHARE ARE THE PARTNERSHIP SERVICES?
- Ensuring language and cultural needs are understood and met.
- Includes a full risk and needs assessment, safety and support planning, advocacy with other services (housing, legal social care etc.)
- Emotional support and referral to both counselling and groups.
- Working with women to navigate systems.
